I urge you to refuse the CN deal to buy the EJ and E for serious safety issues. Our town of Barrington would literally be held hostage by the 15 to 25 trains per day as the tracks criss cross our downtown. The kids would not be able to safely walk to ANY school and the police, fire trucks and ambulances would be delayed in life saving circumstances when time is of the essence. Has anyone tried to drive in this town on a regular day? The traffic here is unacceptable as it is. Please do not allow this takeover by a foreign company that will have no benefits to us or our communities. Safety first!!!
