Re: Finance Docket 35087 Our family opposes the purchase of the EJ&E railroad by the Canadian National Railroad because of the negative impact it will have on surrounding communities. In our community alone, we will have increased noise pollution and traffic tie-ups. Police and ambulance response will be delayed while waiting for the trains to pass. The tracks are old, and are in need of repair. This poses the problem of who will be paying for the repairs, and if they are not repaired, who will be responsible for potential rail accidents? I understand the need for more efficient rail traffic, but in this case, it is a no-win situation for taxpayers and residents. Thank you. Robert & Donna Reed
