Acquiring the EJ&E may have certain finacial benefits for Canadian National through greater effiency for freight movement. This is reasonably straight forwardto calculate. THe lose of efficiency for the tens of thousands of citizens in the affected areas wil be emence. There is no way to put a price tag on this devasting loss to the publice but it is huge. The problems created for ground transportation on safety vehicles, school buses and regular citizens must be factored into this application. When viewed as a trade-of this application must be rejected
