I want to express my grave concern regarding the CN acquisition of the EJ&E Rail Line. This acquisition will have an extremely negative impact in the Plainfield, IL area. This acquistion will result in significant vehicle delays at railroad crossings on our already congested roads. There will also be increased safety issues as well as impact on neighboring cities and villages that use our roads for their commutes to and from work, school and other activities. Please consider other alternatives that will lessen the negative impact on our community.
