I am a resident of Illinois, and strongly object to CN's Proposed Action, and will be drastically harmed thereby. The impact on traffic congestion and noise is totally unacceptable. I resent that we are even seriously considering this. Chicago has already determined the negative impact that it has on them and wants CN out. Why would we think that our standard of living should be lower than Chicago's? I have heard absolutely no positive argument for why we should submit ourselves to this ridiculous plan. It's expensive and will no doubt have to be paid for out of our taxes. The only argument that I've heard is that it will create jobs. This is ridiculous. The fact that something is so bad for our area that we have to create jobs to fix the negative impact, makes no sense. 9/11 also created a large number of jobs and that certainly was not something to be in any way positive about. If this moves forward, I would think that there will be a large group pushing for an investigation into the decision-makers and what their reasoning was. Thank you for letting me vent my frustrations, and I hope you will help us as much as you can. Sincerely, Michael Klein
