Good afternoon to those reviewing these comments. I encourage the STB to critically assess the potential sale of the EJ&E rail line to CN. The impact of the increased rail traffic through my community will certainly cause a detrimental effect for all local citizens. With increased commute times and excess noise, the environment in which I have lived for the past ten years will change dramatically. I enjoy sleeping with my windows open in the summer to hear the occassional train pass during the night. With incrased rail traffic will there be a time during the night when there will be silence to again enter a deep slumber? My father was employed as a freight agent for forty years and continues to enjoy the sights and sounds of rail traffic. Without the railroad I would not have had the fantastic childhood I did. Yet, when my father is visiting he often finds himself wondering of the necessity of the horn frequency and duration. Please reconsider this transaction until more can be done to alleviate the noise levels and disruption to traffic. Thank you for your time. Jacqueline Greenwald
