To whom it may Concern, Please help pass H.R. 6707, a bill entitling federal authorities to deny approval of rail purchases when public costs outweigh transportation benefits. I have great concerns on the impact of fewer and longer trains utilizing the lines in Naperville. It will cripple the already challenged traffic flow through the road systems. The noise pollution, from the lines, is already unpleasant and can further impact the declining value of our homes. Most importantly, children cross those lines many times through out the day, be it on the school bus or walking home from after school activities. The latter scares me most. With the ever growing population of the suburban towns, the future impact of rail traffic will be multiplied. We must be able to deny approval of rail line purchases because the public costs already outweigh the transportation benefits, and let us not forget the further complications in store for us in the future. Sincerely, Renae Devine
