My family live about a 1/2 mile for the EJ&E railline that runs from Joliet, IL to the the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. I am against the proposed aquistion of this rail line by Canadian National raiway. The prososed increase in rail traffic will severly impact man facets of community surrounding the rail line. With no over or under passes (at grade crossing only) in the area this will severally impact traffic congestion in the area. This will cause longer delays for commuting which in turn cause will enviromental problems in the area from burning extra fuel sitting at crossings. Also this aquistion will impact emergency response to my neighborhood we live in. My neighbors and myself urge you to look at the total impact before making a decision on this aquistion. We feel this will have a negative impact on our neighborhood and surrounding area. We like our communtity and do not want to see it impacted in this manner. We understand that CN is trying to go through the court system to force this sale by the end of the year. We believe this unfair to the local community. This decision should be made after the impact study has been done and all voices and information has been heard. Thank you for your time, Greg Stonehocker
