Dear Sir/Madam There is a proposed rail line purchase (Elgin to Joliet rail line) in Illinois state by CN Rail. This purchase will badly affect my entire family as we have to cross this rail line (rail/road crossing at grade level) atleast 4 times/day (myself and wife for work, my 3 year old son for preschool, 5 month baby for daycare) and I believe this sale is going to greatly and adversely affect my family's and entire community's daily routine. It's close to my son's preschool also. Please oppose this sale and cast your vote so the sale will not go through. Regarding H.R. 6707, a bill entitling federal authorities to deny approval of rail purchases when public costs outweigh transportation benefits and to impose strict mitigation conditions upon any approved purchase after August 1, 2008.
