As a trucking company owner I am concerned with the EJE and Canadian National Railroad attempted merger. This merger will not affect the reduction truck traffic as this cargo is, and will be rail movements. Never being on the road until city delivery. The impact will be increased delays and running engines at all the grade level crossings along the route. The communities that favor the deal favor the decrease in rail traffic, same reason the communities against the increaed rail traffic. CN will back fill the rail they claim to be abandoning with other carriers freight as well as overflow. I'm concerned that the deal will pull traffic away from US ports and providers such as trucks, railroads, and long shoreman. Finally this deal will be viewed across the country in future merger considerations. Being rushed as CN has sued your office over, causes me concern. Anything worth doing is worth evaluating properly on OUR schedule. Thank you. We request that you deny this merger. John McLinn
