Re: CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILWAY COMPANY AND GRAND TRUNK CORPORATION--CONTROL--EJ&E WEST COMPANY I am a resident of Plainfield, one of the towns that would be affected by the large increase in rail traffic if this acquasition is approved. Given the rapid growth of this area over the last several years and the failure of raod building to keep pace, vehicle traffic is already very congested in the area. The railroad tracks that would see the increase in volume cut directly through town. A significant increase in rail traffice, and/or much longer trains, will make the moring and evening commutes intolerable. Please do not approve Canadian National purchase of the EJ&E rail line.
