Hello and thank you for this opportunity. The CN purchase of the EJ&E railroad through Bartlett, IL is a disaster waiting to happen. I live to the west of the West Bartlett Road railroad gate which is already overly trafficked and dangerous. CN will no install under/overpasses at this locale which dozens of school buses and thousands of cars pass each day. Without grade improvements, we will be cut off from emergency services and the traffic delays will cost millions of dollars in lost productivity/time over the years. This is just one of many concerns our community has with this buyout and I haven't even touched on the potential loss of the STAR line project. Thank you for your time. We know you'll do the right thing - if CN MUST buy the railway, PLEASE make them make the necessary grade improvements.
