I am a life long resident of Frankfort. I do not think it is fair for us to shoulder the burden of CN railroads acquisition of the EJ&E line. I believe that if Canadian Northern wishes to use the line, they should be responsible for improving the infrastructure first. I am not saying that they should not be allowed to buy the EJ&E railroad, but should make the improvements to the roads and noise abatement. Why should our small communities be required to do this without any benefits. The trains that roll though now already rattle our home and wake us at night. I pass the crossing on average 27 times per week. I'm sure that even CN's executives would not want to live next to what they are proposing to do next to my home. Thank you for the opportunity to place my comment.
