I am writing to inform you of my support for the Canadian National's proposal to reroute freight traffic from our community to the EJ&E Railway. This just make good common sense. The congestion being caused by both freight and commuter train traffic in my community is unbearable. Further, the travel time required to move freight from the north of the city to the south of the city is ridiculous. The proposed purchase by CN of the EJ&E Railway should be approved without delay. Thus far, the media focus has been biased in favor of those communities who will experience an increase in train traffic. I am ringing in an endorsement from a community that will benefit from this purchase, a community that has been taking the brunt of the train traffic for years.
