The CN take over is bad for our community and the draft environmental impact study (DEIS) is flawed because consequences to local tax bases for communities along the EJ&E are ignored, contradictory CN data is used in assessing air quality, the noise assessment methodology is out dated and rejected by the U.S.EPA, the list of substantially affected grade crossing is fatally flawed becouse vehicle traffic counts are wrong, increased risk of hazardous material spills is minimized and CN`s deplorable Canadian safty record is ignored, life and death first responder impacts are downplayed, residential housing value impacts are ignored without real analysis.
