Twice a day I cross the Chicago & Northwestern tracks at Finley Rd.& Cresent Blvd. in Lombard IL. There is always a frieght train loaded with coal waiting to go thru Chicago. I think of all the money wasted by it sitting there. Then I realize that this is a national security issue because the coal fired power plants in the U.S.A. need the coal that is on these trains. Digging deeper I find out that we are also selling this coal overseas and that is helping reduce our trade deficit. Knowing that the railroad tracks are under Federal Jurisdiction, the sooner that our government approves the sale of the Elgin,Joliet & Eastern Railway to Canadian National Railway and this train jam is resolved, our country will be the better off because of it. Sincerely, Frank Listwan
