I am writing to support the Canadian National Railway (CN) proposal to buy the underused Elgin, Joliet and Eastern railroad (EJ&E) which runs around the City of Chicago. As a resident of the South Loop, this measure would provide immense relief to our community which typically has numerous freight trains parked outside of our homes on a daily basis. The pollution and the noise impact are enormous. Please provide some relief.
