I oppose the EJ&E railroad going through New Lenox. We cannot handle the traffic we have in the city already, and the fact that CN does not want to contribute much to the upgrades will be needed is ridiculous. I also fear more hazardous materials coming through. Also, changing trains to be approximately 2 miles long, I feel, just will not be safe or be conducive to traffic flow.
