I am extremeley concerned about Canadian National's attempt to purchase the EJ&E railway. As the wife of a police officer, I feel that the CN's wanting to use of so many freight trains in excess of 1 mile in length is a severe tragedy waiting to happen. The railroad cuts this town in half, and if there were to be an emergency, police and fire could have a very hard time getting help to people who need it in time. Please consider stopping the acquisition of the EJ&E by CN. Lives depend on it.
