I am a resident of Frankfort, IL, residing in a property located just north of the EJ&E RR on Aberdeen Rd.. I am deeply troubled at the prospect of having 28 or more trains travelling along this rail line. This would cause unlimited discomfort & hazards to our community. Times have changed since this RR was built. It's as if CN thinks they have a Grandfather clause to suit their own profit margins at the expense of Frankfort residents & all the other towns affected. The environmental impact is endless - safety issues, possible hazardous waste spills, delays in emergency responses, noise & vibration, are just a few of the issues in question. Why should the residents along this RR pay the added cost of protecting their environment when it's the CNRR that is reaping the profit. This is totally unjust. CN can find a better way to move freight. Respectfully & sincerely submitted, Dorothy M. Pampel
