Chicago neighborhoods deserve the same consideration as suburban communities. · Reducing freight train congestion is an economic and environmental benefit to the entire region. · Many Chicago communities have borne the brunt of freight congestion for years. It’s time for our communities to see some rail congestion relief and for the burden to be balanced across the region. Please be sure to make a decision based on the big picture and all of the relevant stakeholders/interests, over both the short and long terms, not just the hue and cry coming from a relatively small but vocal group of protestors. Don't let their histrionics prevail over rational analysis.
