I oppose the sale of the Ej&E railroad to CN. Downtown Chicago has the infostructure to handle many trains without disrupting or endangering the community. Suburbs like Plainfield and Naperville do not have that infostructure. Yes we live by train tracks and the amount of trains that come through now does not disrupt or endanger lives. These cities crossings are not built for that kind of train traffic. The crossings that are at grade need to be built as over or underpasses before more trains use these tracks. I dont feel that a though environmental study was done. Please check the saftly record of CN in Canada. Please dont let this happen.
