I am in support of the Canadian National R.R. 's purchase of the EJ&E R.R. I have been a resident of South Holland for the past 20 years and live approximately two blocks from the train tracks. The increase in the number of trains over the years has been disturbing. There is more train activity at night, which affects my sleep and the constant train ideling is annoying and loud. My biggest reason for supporting this purchase would be to reduce the pollution in the area caused by the trains, the frequent traffic jams when the trains are passing through, and the affects the train vibrations are having on our streets and homes (numerous cracks). Again, in an effort to improve our community with a reduction in the train activity, I request that the STB approve the CN purchase of the EJ&E railroad. Thank you, Ellamae Brown
