I am opposed to the Canadian National Railroad aquisition of the EJ&E railroad. The increased train traffic through our communities will have a negative impact on private citizens commuting time as well as Emergency vehicle response times. The increase in train traffic may also have negative ecological impacts on the area. There are crossings in the area that do not have crossing gates and the basic infrastucture may not support the increase in traffic.
