I live within approximately 500 feet of the EJ&E line that is proposed to be taken over by Canadian National line. I deserve assurance that the Noise and Vibration inicrease that will impact my family for the rest of our lives is being taken into consideration and some mitigation will be taken to minimize the adverse effects on our lives, safety and health. Loss of sleep is a particular concern of mine since this condition already exsists with the current level of train traffic and we are told that we can expect a tripling of traffic. I am asking for consideration of sound barriers in areas near residential neighborhoods at a minimum. I am upset that these people can invade our communities our homes and our lives at all and we have little say in that. We have been allowed to express our concerns but my fear is that they will fall on deaf ears. The average person is loosing his voice in america to powerful economic intersts at every turn but I am hoping that the powerful interests in this case will have some compassion for the thosands of people who lives will be adversely impacted by this invasion of our communities and our lives.
