I strongly urge you to decline the CN purchase of the EJ & J railroad. I am a homeowner for the past 10 years whose townhome faces directly toward the tracks and in between 2 at grade crossings. The increased rail traffic will greatly impact my home and life in a negative way. Not only will it take longer to travel any where outside of my subdivision but the value of my home will decrease and the noise and air polution will cause me to stay in my home with the doors and windows closed at all times. Yes, I could sell my home but with an additional decrease in value added to the values being lowered by the market already I would definately be taking a loss. Is this the American dream?
