Ms. Glidden: Please know that I fully support he CN acquistion of EJ&E and encourage you to approve the transaction and operating plan. Our family has lived in towns served by CN for most of my life. My father was a CN(IC) conductor for 32 years. More importantly, I believe that the US transportation system, and metro Chicago, will be well served by moving rail traffic from the city center to a by-pass" route. The new rail traffic pattern will increase fluidity in Chicago. Opposition from suburban home owners and businesses is selfish and misguided. CN has been a good neighbor in our cental Illinois communities. Please work to approve the proposed transaction as presented by CN. I ask that you forward this request to your colleagues. Thank you."
