Dear Ms. Johnson-Ball, I am very concerned that the EJ+E sale to the Canadian national will irreparably damage the town I've come to love. A foreign company should not be allowed to benefit so greatly, while contributing so little to the badly-needed infrastructure improvements required to keep Plainfield and other affected towns from severe traffic and safety problems. Plainfield alone has 17 at-grade crossings, many of which would require re-building. Taxpayers should not be forced to pay the costs associated with a private company's impact. I am employed by American President Lines, an ocean carrier who uses the U.S. railroads to transport it's containers nationwide. I am very aware of the CN's potential to cause havoc as they run double-stack" container trains every 30 minutes through my town. The CN's expansion would be a disaster for every homeowner, business and commuter in the region. Please rule against this purchase. Thank-You Peter Thoss Plainfield, IL"
