Dear David Navecky, Firstly let me thank you for giving me the opportunity to review and comment on the DEIS concerning the rail line between North Pole and Delta Junction, Alaska. There are a couple issues which I am concerned about. The first issue is the possible disruption of migration patterns for the different species within the proposed project area and how you are going to address this issue. Secondly I am very concerned about the possibility of seismic activity and possible train derailment and consequently any spills and/or injury to people aboard the train. What kind of construction and maitnence techniques do you plan to implement to lessen the likely hood of such an event? I would like to also comment on how readable this DEIS was and to thank you for the clear and understandable writing. Sincerely, Megan Haines
