Rini: We wish to inform you and the SEA staff for the record that Vulcan has filed copies of its proposed rock crusher air permit and proposed water pollution abatement plan (WPAP) with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). We urge you to request complete copies of these documents from Vulcan. We request the STB to take administrative notice of these applications and incorporate them into the record by reference. Our community deeply appreciates the recent decision by the agency to pursue a Supplemental Draft EIS analyzing feasible eastern alternative rail routes. We look forward to reviewing it and any recommendations from the agency that may result from its contents. We thank you and the SEA staff for your hard work and oversight of this project to date.
