AB 290 (Sub-No. 419X) · NORFOLK SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY – ABANDONMENT EXEMPTION – IN SUMMIT COUNTY, OHIO

Comment EI-34218

Received or sent (printed as 1/2/2026)

This rail line must be preserved for future passenger rail service. It is the ONLY available route option for establishing passenger rail service between Canton, Akron, and Cleveland. If the city of Hudson is permitted to buy this property, it will prevent establishment of passenger rail service in the future. It must be preserved for railroad use.
