I am looking for any environmental assessment or plan for the railroad abandonment of the former Rock Island Railroad (now owned by AmerenUE) in Missouri. I own property adjoining the line and there is an endangered species of bat. I was told in a public meeting the rail clearing activities were to be done in the winter months but the crews were still clearing in my area just a few weeks ago. I want a copy of this plan as our property also adjoins the Bat Cave Conservation area (home to endangered Indiana Grey and Longear bats). We enjoy viewing the bats in the evening and I have deep concerns the human encroachment this project has brought and will bring will be detrimental. Please forward to mail me a copy of the plan.
